So, the group has been in Belize for only a few days now, and we’re doing a lot of stuff and trying our best not to get sunburnt. Some of us are having more success in that regard than others. In the days we’ve been here we’ve been kept busy with various things; us guys have been working on building a fence for the people we’re staying with among other things you’ve already read here. Today our hosts decided to give us a bit of a break, and take us snorkeling. So we went out to Caye Caulker, went on a boat ride and swam with the fishies.
In the above picture are some sharks that we swam with, they didn’t eat us, and were content to just swim around and get their pictures taken.
And it wasn’t just us and the fishies in the water either, we met up with the SBC students that are also here in Belize and some locals as well, I got to know a guy from Belize City named Javin, who is studying to become a teacher and seeking God’s will every step along the way. Its great to see people my age in a completely different country so on fire for serving God. I also got to say hi to Armondo who was tagging along with the SBC people, which was the best.
Anyway, Taylor says hi because she is reading this over my shoulder…. well more to the side of it to be more accurate. But I digress, tomorrow we go back to working hard, Jessie and I are getting shipped off Carmilta Village for a day or two (we don’t actually know how long we will be there, which is awesome.) while the rest of the team is going to be sharing in a Church here, and then possibly be going to a birthday party to share the Bible to some kids.

This is the most exquisite underwater speicmen I manged to photograph in my day in the Caribbean Sea, it is a Benjimities Deuckies in an aquatic environment.

Hey Jack! Thanks for the update. Chuck Nichols is praying for you and Jessie today and so am I.
